News Flash! Van Acker Construction’s New Website
Recently, COUPAR Marketing completed a new website for Van Acker Construction. The esteemed Bay Area-based general contracting and construction management firm has collaborated with elite architects and designers since its founder, Gary Van Acker, started his business in the early 1980s. Now that his son Danny Van Acker co-directs the company, they needed a website looking to the future while reflecting its heritage. As a design consultancy firm, COUPAR created a site that narrated Van Acker Construction's story through compelling visuals and copy. We customized a Squarespace website, allowing flexible and scalable updates.
We started with who Van Acker is; COUPAR researched the history and ethos of their company. Our websites capture the essence and nuances of who our clients are on their About and Bio pages. For Van Acker, this included connecting them with the professional photographer Kathleen Harrison for team portraits. We also compiled a portfolio of their work viewed with an editorial eye, advising which residences to showcase on their website, organizing the photos, giving industry partners credit, and showcasing press acknowledgments. For upcoming projects, we will suggest photographers, provide shot lists, and develop a media pitch strategy to maximize their investment.
While developing Van Acker's website, we built their Instagram presence to amplify the upcoming launch. COUPAR also placed Danny on Tom Dioro's Architecture + Innovation Podcast to discuss the company's legacy and future. We posted the podcast in Van Acker's inaugural newsletter. COUPAR's bespoke websites have included other builders, architects, artisans, art galleries, and interior designers—attention to quality and detail thread through all our websites. Every client is different; we translate their distinct voice to their site. Do you need your company's story told? Please contact COUPAR Marketing.
