Design San Francisco Festivities

In February, we celebrated the San Francisco Design Center's premier event: Design San Francisco. The annual conference showcases the best in interior design talent from local to international. This year designers, artisans, and showrooms came together with provocative ideas, and valuable intelligence to inspire the creative spirit.

We kicked off Design SF with the inaugural Tech Design Conference, hosted and sponsored by the Luxury Marketing Council, Walker Zanger, and the San Francisco Design Center. Among the knowledgable speakers was our Founder, and CEO, Krista Coupar. Krista covered the topic of "On Demand Talent for Burst Periods," a specialty of COUPAR Consulting. Thank you Alf Nucifora of the Luxury Marketing Council and SFDC's Rhonda Hirata for including COUPAR in this dynamic format.

During Design SF, one of San Francisco's most dynamic interior designer's, Orlando Diaz-Azcuy was honored by Interiors Magazine Editor in Cheif Erika Heet. The fete held at A. Rudin and attended by design luminaries celebrated the designer's "Japanese symphony." The new furniture collection designed in collaboration with Japan's Matsuoka features six pieces each named for a famous musical composition. The global theme continued with the keynote presentations. Author Alisa Carroll interviewed Britain's Lulu Lytle and Parisian Jean-Louis Deniot each a design visionary. Lulu founder of Soane Britain and Jean-Louis designer extraordinaire, took us on a journey through art and design history.

Thank you to the designers, artisans, and showrooms who participated in this year’s Design SF. We can’t wait to see what creativity 2020 brings.
