Design San Francisco ended with the biennial Designers of Distinction Awards Luncheon. SFDC showrooms nominated over 140 interior designers for six coveted awards. A blind jury of industry experts judged the categories of Traditional Residential Design, Transitional Residential Design, Contemporary Residential Design, Creative Spaces, Hospitality/ Contract/ Office/ Retail, and Designer to Watch. Michael Boodro, the charismatic Master of Ceremonies and Dering Hall’s Chairman of Editorial and Strategic Initiatives led the event.

Kendall Wilkinson of Kendall Wilkinson Design thanked the design community when she accepted the award for  Residential | Contemporary. "Growing up in San Francisco I attended Designers on Parade with my mother designer Alice Wiley. This award means a great deal to me," she said.
