What do you love about Coupar?
One of the greatest things that I love about Coupar is the commitment to a Process and Solution based environment. As much as we are able to function as a design firm, we are also able to think like a nimble start-up and tap into creative methods to solve design problems. Coupar's female-driven team is truly a force to be reckoned with and exciting to be a part of!

Describe yourself in 3 words.
Enthusiastic, Curious, Fastidious

What is your design motto?
I don't have one of my own yet, but I have always loved when Charles Eames said: "The details are not the details. They make the design."

What is your favorite part of the design process?
I love the experience of getting to know a client's specific lifestyle needs and habits, introducing them to all the potential options of creating an environment that not only caters to those needs but makes their home environment an expression of all the things they find beautiful. It is always satisfying to solve those problems along with an intense output of creative expression, without the commitment of living in that space yourself—then you get to start all over again!

What is one item you could never live without?
Headphones—I love listening to and discovering new music. Sometimes a song can get attached to a creative moment or memory, and every time you hear that song it can bring you back to that great moment.

Favorite place to travel?

TK: I love the southwest and desert climate. Whether it's glamping or a cute boutique hotel, I am a happy girl!

Who do you admire and why?

TK: I have been listening to Tim Ferriss’ Podcasts as of late, I really admire his perspective on life and how he has reached his personal and professional accomplishments. He has helped motivate me to stay hungry, curious, and relentlessly pursue my goals.

What is one thing on your bucket list?

TK: Visit Barcelona, Spain to see the work of Architect Antoni Gaudi.

What is your favorite memory?

TK: Not a singular memory, but my favorite thing is to watch the sunrise—it can be peaceful, reflective, romantic, grounding, or all of the above! It's a wonderful moment to share with a loved one however you came to that moment together.
