As 2016 comes to a close, we're in awe of Coupar's community of peers and creatives that we have had the privilege of serving. From growing our company from a team of six to eighteen, rebranding our business and moving our communications team to Sacramento Street, organizing DesignLIVE, and joining ICAA's marketing committee, this has been a year to remember. With our current political climate, we couldn't be more honored to empower a diverse community of innovators and creatives in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. With 2017 comes change and the opportunity to ensure that our voices are heard. We can't help but ask ourselves if there could ever be a more important time to work at an all-women company. Below we've shared a look at what 2017 has to offer—from Pantone's Color prediction to Quintus' Take Action initiative.

Two weeks ago, we joined the design community for the 15th annual Jingle and Mingle event benefiting Children of Shelters. We were captivated by the night's assortment of custom wreaths, designed by local talent. It was so inspiring to see our designers—Evars + Anderson Interior Design, Kendall Wilkinson Design, Mead Quin Design, and The Wiseman Group—contributing one-of-a-kind creations to this fantastic event. For a deeper look into their designs, please see our event coverage here

We're looking for more interior designers to join our amazing Studio Coupar team! The ideal candidate has a great passion for design, is highly adaptable, and shows exceptional innovation and initiative. Please submit a cover letter, résumé, and portfolio via email to with the subject line Studio Coupar Interior Designer - [Your Name]. We will contact candidates via email to arrange an interview.

In light of recent events, Quintus has created a take action campaign to reinforce their commitment to LGBTQ rights, women's rights and reasonable gun safety. Until the January 20th inauguration, Quintus will donate 5% of their sales evenly between The Human Rights Campaign, Planned Parenthood and Every Town for Gun Safety. Quintus' artisan partners Elan Atelier, Fabric & Steel, and Philomela will be participating as well. Artisan partner Paper Mills also will be donating 21% of their sales until January 21st. All designers that place orders during this time period are invited to have their names included in the donation letters. Join Quintus in this valiant endeavor to support these crucial organizations who share a commitment to a diverse and safe America.
