3 Gorgeous Fireplaces Making Us Excited for Cold Weather

As the holidays approach (and the weather grows colder), there’s nothing we love more than get cozy beside a big crackling fire—especially if that fire is showcased in a gorgeous fireplace. So, as we unpack our stockings and hang up our garlands, we’re taking a look at some of our favorite fireplaces and dreaming about nights spent with loved ones beside the warm, bright flames. Take a look:

Regan Baker of Regan Baker Design has stolen our hearts with this chic fireplace in a Russian Hill Bachelor Pad. We’re obsessing over its modern masculinity and the way a coat of fresh white paint can completely transform the effect of exposed brick. We can’t stop thinking about lighting those candles, displaying an ornament vignette, and enjoy a glass of wine beside this beautiful living room centerpiece.

2. Modern Glam by Ann Lowengart

We’re not sure it gets better than this sleek fireplace in Ann Lowengart’s Tiburon Modern project. Paired with two luxurious sofas, a glamorous light fixture, and sumptuous textiles—this space makes us feel as though we’re modern day movie stars!

3. Classic Luxury by Sandra Funk

There’s just something so classic about this stone fireplace designed by Sandra Funk of House of Funk. It reminds us of the homes we grew up in, yet has a modern feel at the same time. Its strong wooden mantel is perfectly accented with gorgeous bronze candlesticks, and we can’t help but imagine generations of family members gathering in this room to tell stories, relax after a large holiday meal, or maybe even dozing off in one of those oversized armchairs. It truly encapsulates this time of year.

The weather outside may be frightful, but all of these fireplace designs are oh, so delightful. We hope you enjoy an evening or two cozying up to a fireplace of your own this holiday season!
